The evening J House wrap up

Lord, thank you for speaking to me about my identity. Thank you that it must be rooted in you 100%. May money, others' opinions - perceived and reality- not become my center. But may you be my center. I surrender my money, relationships, work, self image/confidence, food, possessions, freedom to you. Make your home in every part of my house for your glory.

May my (financial) security rest in you, not my income/paycheck. Both in a lot and a little money - may I be content knowing that ALL good things come from you. So, do not worry... Even when I am financially independent, may I remember these truths.

May I honor you in how I give generously and sacrificially and faithfully to your work and others. May I budget these expenses and actively carry them out. Where you guide, you provide.

Give me a passion for the lost, broken, outsider, poor, oppressed. Help me to use my time, talent, and treasure to serve these people who are in front of me. Give me your eyes/heart of compassion and mercy. May I not grow cold to the hurting. Help me to actively work on their behalf. Guide me. Help me to share with others boldly.
